PACT Priority 1 – Parking – New Road (outside takeaways)
BCBC patrol vehicle has monitored the locations and vehicles sighted committing an offence will be dealt with by details in the post. The road markings have also been refreshed at several locations across Porthcawl. Targeted Police patrols (Mobile and foot) resulted in vehicles being moved on and drivers educated on road safety concerns.
PACT Priority 2 – Concern for safety – Subway
Regular Police patrols were carried out people spoken to with regards to cycling through the subway. PCSO’s attended the Schools and pupils were educated on the highway signage and concerns raised. The lighting issue has been rectified by National Grid. Further requests have been made by Police and Cllr Farr to BCBC for the mirror to be replaced.
